Terms
The short version, which is also the long version.
These terms cover anyone who opens a Kindwillow page: guests, families, and the funeral homes that publish them. Funeral homes also sign a separate service agreement. Last updated September 2026.
The page belongs to the family
The funeral home publishes the page; the family decides what goes on it. The obituary, any charity, money out, anyone in the family's home, and anything naming a child always wait for the family's word. What you add to the wall stays yours; you give the family and the funeral home permission to show it on the page, and they may take it down.
Offers to help are promises to people
When you take a dinner or a ride you are telling a grieving family you will be there. If plans change, release it from My commitments so it goes back on the board. Addresses shared with you for that purpose are for that purpose only.
Money
Flowers, meals, and keepsakes are sold by Kindwillow and fulfilled by partners the funeral home works with; the funeral home receives a share, shown on the product. Gifts to a family's funds go to the family in full; the card fee is shown separately and paid by the giver. Refunds follow the partner's terms for goods and are at our discretion for gifts already paid to a family. Stripe processes payments under its own terms.
Be decent
No harassment, no impersonation, nothing you do not have the right to post, nothing naming a child without the family. We remove what breaks this and can end access without notice.
What we are not
Kindwillow is software. Funeral arrangements, prices, and contracts are between the family and the licensed funeral home; anything an AI assistant drafts through our tools is a starting point, never a quote. We give the service as it is, do our best to keep it up, and our liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the last twelve months, to the extent the law allows. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
Questions
hello@kindwillow.com. If we change these terms we will say so on this page, and a funeral home will hear from us first.
